When a vehicle arrives at Ridge Road Auto Parts the inventory personnel evaluate the parts for salability. The processing instructions are given to the parts dismantlers, who having the vehicle in the indoor dismantling bay, begin to test the mechanical parts, drain and store fluids and gases and then remove the quality parts for warehousing. The hulk is then removed and stored outdoors for future needs such as a cut-to-order body section. After a period of time, these hulks are sent to a recycling facility for preparation in the manufacturing of new steel. At Ridge Road Auto Parts, we have been recycling automobiles since 1950. Working to preserve natural resources and properly handle potentially hazardous materials has not been a fad with us.
